Detox yoga in Nepal

This program is intended to cleanse and heal the stomach, small intestine, and large intestine. This includes removing growths, healing tissues, restoring the shape and tone up the intestine to their natural form, restoring the environment of the intestinal tract to its proper balance. This removes excess mucus buildups and generally removing and rebuilding diseased tissue throughout the Gastro-intestinal Tract.
This course alleviates digestive problems and tones the liver and other digestive organs and glands. It strengthens the immune system, reduces excessive mucus and purifies the blood.
If you really like to sense energized, light, and clear headed, to have glowing skin, hair and nails and look and feel younger, this is what you can achieve with a 7 days yoga detox program. For some of us, we actually feel heavy, tired, foggy headed, and suffer from digestive issues. Let this 7 days detox and yoga retreat be the kick start to a new and healthier you. We have a 2 hour class in the morning, and then a 1.5 hour classes in the evening to support cleanse, boost your attitude and feed the soul. Each class will focus on different aspects of the detox retreat and the yoga will follow the journey of your detox, ebbing and flowing with your energy levels and moods.
This cleansing program of fast and cleanse is becoming popular among those who prefer natural way of treating body opposed to other modern practices.
First three days of this course will be normal yoga and meditation with normal food, then your fasting will begin from 4th day.
During the fast, you can drink diluted juices, herbal teas, and vegetable broths. This course also combines abdominal massage, breathing exercises to loosen the diaphragm area, plenty of support, nurturing/relaxation, and enjoyment.
The fasting will go like following (practicing normal yoga and meditation):
==> For the first day of fasting you are eating 6 apples, 5 cups of herbal drink.
==> For the second day, you are eating 3 apples, 5 cups of herbal drink.
==> There is no meal for third day of fasting, only enough amount of herbal drinks. This is to support and prepare your body and mind.
==> Next day, you will join the flushing in the morning. For this, you are drinking Luke warm water and doing certain yoga postures in dynamic way to expel the toxic matters from the systems. After completing the flushing, you will get yogic food Khichadi after 45 minutes. There will be complete rest for the whole day, you can have Khichadi whenever you are hungry.
You can leave after breakfast on the next day.

How to be prepared for this program:

Before coming on this 7 days yoga detox retreat, we recommend that you start preparing the body 5 days before so that the real detoxing can arise on the retreat. We ask to start cutting down on all acidic foods, such as wheat, dairy, sugars and alcohol.

Day 1 | Arrival in Kathmandu, stay in Bhaktapur

You will be received at the Tribhuwan International Airport by a Shree Yoga representative. We have chosen a traditional town for your stay. Be prepared to be amazed by the living style of Newars in Bhaktapur, almost untouched by Modern practices.

Day 2 | Lumbini Visit

Fly to Bhairahawa. Then you will be taken to the Birthplace of the Buddha. Walk and breathe in the sacred garden.

Day 3 | Travel to Pokhara (by private car)

Driving on a narrow highway passing settlements, local markets, and beautiful landscapes.

Day 4 | Hike to Ulleri Magar Village

Work your way up about 3000 steps to reach Ulleri.

Day 5 | Sunrise View at Poonhill

Early morning climb to viewpoint station in Poonhill for Sunrise view over the tall Himalayas.

Day 6 | Massage & Relaxation in Tadapani

This is a day for complete relaxation in Tadapani village also enjoying magnificent view of the Annapurna Himalaya.

Day 7 | Yoga Lesson with Shree & Cultural Dinner in Pokhara

You will start the day with yoga lesson and practice of breathing exercises with Instructor Shreesh. Freely explore lakeside and surrounding in the afternoon. Evening time, enjoy Nepali musical instruments, dance performance, and traditional meal.

Day 8 | Reflection Day in Bhaktapur

Fly to Kathmandu. Stay in Bhaktapur. Trip Reflection with a Life Coach. End of Program. Next day morning, after breakfast you may depart back home or move on with your next travel plan.

Nagarkot yoga trek in Nepal

Nagarkot is a former Village Development Committee located 32 km east of Kathmandu, located approximately 2200 meter above sea level. It is known for a sunrise view of the Himalayas which include 8 Himalayan ranges of Nepal out of 13, they are: Mount Everest, Annapurna range, Manaslu range, Ganesh himal range, Langtang range, Jugal range, Rolwaling range, Mahalangur range (Everest range) and Numbur range. Nagarkot also offers a panoramic view of the Kathmandu city.
3 days Nagarkot panoramic yoga hike course is intended for those who want to explore the typical local culture, Himalayan ranges, wild life and nature around Kathmandu city while deepening their yoga practices.

Day 1: Arrival

We can help to pick you up from the airport and transfer to hotel. (One can also book the hotel in Kathmandu by themself). We will disscuss about the program after reaching to the hotel.

Day 2: Kathmandu – Chisapani (2115m), 4/5 hours walking

After having tea and breakfast, we drive to Sundarijal (which may take around 50 minutes), a hiking starting point, which is also known as hangout spot. Lush greenery, sources of water and tranquil environment welcome us as soon as we reach there. We start our hiking from this spot. We have our lunch at one of guest houses. Walking through a few settlements and deep forest with variety of birds and chances of meeting wild animals, we arrive at Chisapani (meaning cold water). It is Sherpa's village offering great views of mountains. Relieve yourself in the evening with yoga practice in front of setting sun. The yoga class may last for 90 minutes. Have dinner and retire in some of tourist lodges. On this day, we will climb lots of stairs.

Day 3: Chisapani - Nagarkot (2200m), 6/7 hours walking

We get up early in the morning to have sunrise view with tea. You will enjoy the morning meditation practice with panoramic view of long range Himalayas including Mount Everest. We then have breakfast and start hiking towards Nagarkot. The whole trail passes through dense forest, making you forget the tiredness and making your hiking joyful. We stop by Chauki Bhanjyang to have lunch and rest. Then we continue our hike to Nagarkot passing through terraced fields, which also offers unmatched scenery of innumerable peaks along a large section of the Himalayas. The trail ascends up from Kattike Bhanjyang to Nagarkot. We start yoga class after some time, have dinner and stay overnight in a hotel.

Day 4: Nagarkot - center point, 1 hour walking

Wakeup early in the morning to enjoy sunrise view. We will do the yoga in front of the Himalayas (The class will last for 90 minutes). After yoga, you will join for breakfast and then we hike down towards center point. Then drive back to your hotel in Kathmandu.
One can also practice yoga on demand in the evening, overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 5: Departure

You can leave the hotel after the breakfast or plan another program with us !!
